During my time at Four5One I worked on several projects for the band U2 including fan magazine 'Propaganda & the cover for a limited collector’s edition release of 'Elevation', taken from the album ‘All That You Can’t Leave Behind’.
We agreed it was not imperative to have a band shot or even the band name on the cover (although some editions were also labeled with a sticker). A silhouetted shot taken by photographer Andrew McPherson at the MTV Music Awards was chosen for the front cover image. We also used other shots to create a pull out poster when you unfolded the front cover.
