Stubnitz Redux
This is an identity & short promo video I did for a recent project in London titled 'Stubnitz Redux'. The event took place aboard the MS Stubnitz, a mammoth former deep sea fishing vessel which was purchased for a knockdown price after the fall of Communism in East Germany.
The ship now travels Europe functioning as a floating venue & arts space which inside consists of a warren of vertical ladders and mysterious shafts, indecipherable valves, dials & levers all which are being constantly modified & updated by the crew.
I tried to reflect the history of the ship (with a nod to the colours & harsh angles of Popova, Vesnin & Rodchenko). I also created multiple versions of the flag housing which represents the maritime flag signalling system. This was also applied to a video ad use to promote the event.
